04 La Clandestine Originale - 70 cl made with a wine alcohol base

A special distillation of La Clandestine Originale with a high quality wine alcohol base.

While wine was not used historically in the underground absinthes distilled in Switzerland since the 1910 ban, wine alcohol does bring very special aromas and flavors to the absinthe and produces a very agreeable roundness in the mouth.

Alcohol: 53% abv 106 proof

Serve: 2.5 to 3 cl avec 4/5 parts of fresh water. Some absinthe lovers like to pour the water slowly over a sugar lump, but we prefer La Clandestine "au naturel," or without sugar.
