We don't sell to minors.

If you are below legal drinking age, do not order. If you order from us, then you do so confirming that you are of legal drinking age in the place where you live. 

Local laws and duties

Note that it is your responsibility to check that it is OK for you to import absinthe into your country and that in placing an order, you agree responsibility for any local duties, taxes, etc: we cannot always keep up with local laws and taxes in Mesopotamia etc.       

Order size

Although you may order as many as you want, in practice we will split orders into separate packs. Within the EU, we suggest no more than six bottles in each order and will split any larger order into packs of six or fewer bottles. Outside the EU, we will split any larger orders into packs of three or fewer bottles and will ship the packs on separate dates.

Correct Address, please!

From experience, we know that some problems are caused by incorrect addresses or failure to collect from your courier's local office. In cases like that, the courier may eventually return your order to us, and in such circumstances we will refund the cost of the absinthe and/or accessories, but not the shipping costs which we cannot claim back from the courier in such circumstances.

Shipping Costs

All parcels are dispatched from Europe and our e-commerce software automatically calculates the shipping cost by weight when you provide your country details. So you can check your total price, including shipping, online before you buy.

The Couriers will want a signature!

This is not because you are famous (many of our customers are but we cannot tell you who they are!). The courier company requires a signature to confirm delivery, so if in doubt look for an alternative way to get this signature. If you expect to be out most of the time, can you ship it to your office? Or, assuming you trust your neighbour with your absinthe, leave a note asking the courier company to leave your parcel with a neighbour (and tell then who!). The signature of a minor is usually not acceptable. If the courier company is not able to get a signature, they will leave a note asking you to collect from their local office. Note that all this protects you!

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within seven days of placing the order or within seven days of receipt of goods (whichever is later). However, in such circumstances, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and will only be refunded for the absinthe and'or accessories when they are received back in re-saleable condition.
