Included in my order was one of the François Guy Pontarlier liters. This is a perfect every day absinthe. It has only 45% alcohol and for an every
day drink that is just fine. The lower alcohol allows more flavor to come through and brings the price down compared to most other things that is
offered by François Guy. If one is looking for a very good introduction to exactly how absinthe ought to taste this is a very good selection. The
people at Absinthe-Suisse have a smaller inventory of safe products that are all good as compared to some of the larger shops that carry everything
that has an absinthe label slapped on the bottle. I have had some terrible absinthe in the past and I feel save ordering anything on the list here. I
think this liter bottle is one of the more inexpensive (Euro per cl.) bottles on Absinthe-Suisse and it still hits the spot. It is not exotic or
different than what one would expect absinthe to be. It is a very safe item and the best place to start. It is also good if you will be hosting
guests. The larger bottle increases the chances that you may have some left for yourself when the evening is over.
